Conquering Writer's Block Teasing the demon   
Hi! It's Kerowin4Moons here to give you some tips on how to conquer that hateful monster known as writer's block!   
So we've all been there, or maybe it's your first time and you're tearing your hair out because you have no idea how to get over  it. Well, there have been times when I would have enjoyed somebody giving me a little piece of advice. And when they did, they really made my day. These techniques have always worked for me, and I hope they do for you too.

Slave to the BlockI don’t feel the shackles on my ankles anymore.  My entire body has gone numb from the wet, dark, cold of the creaking ship.  I was betrayed by my own people.  Three days ago...or maybe four...I’m not sure anymore, I was sold to a man in a dirty, red suit.  He seemed kind enough at first.  I couldn’t understand the strange language he spoke.  It was a language of elaborate noises, most of them made with the lips and the tip of the tongue, rather than the more understandable throaty words I was used to.  But, nevertheless, he spoke to me a great deal.  His voice wa Slave to the Block

Getting to know your characterGetting to know your characters   
We all know that having complex, well-rounded characters are paramount to a good story. If your characters don’t work, the chances are that your story won’t either. No matter what kind of story it is – milieu story, plot story, character story – the characters are the number one element carrying the story. Without characters, no story at all. I won’t say the plot isn’t important, of course it is. But we are not talking about plot now.  
 
The characters need to be realistic. The more fantastic and strange the story is, the more realistic the characters need to be – they are the number one Getting to know your character

A new start?

When I started this group, I had plenty of plans, visions and hopes for it. I had so many ideas! I wanted to give all the writers out there a good way to beat writer's block, a community to back them up and so much more. But there is only 24 hours in the day and only so much one person can do, and the group entered a vicious circle. I would not get the time to follow through with all my plans and things that I started up, and because of that there would be little interest for participating in the things I did think up and start. And thus I would feel it harder to work with the group. We all know how it ended; the group died down.

I think it has been dead for over two and a half years now, if not more. I have received some notes about joining, but have not replied because, as far as I was concerned, the group was dead. In addition I had quite a few problems in my real life and found my interest for writing slowly disappearing (I thought). Now I have found back to writing again, and realise that I just cannot live without it. I also got a wonderful note on my personal account today, from a person who wanted to help out with the group. I then started to realise how much I would love to see the group active and working again, and that I still want it to reach its full potential. If the cooperation with this person (sorry, cannot remember the username right now) goes well I think you can all look forward to a new start again.

I am, however, going to learn from past mistakes and think things through and have things ready before I start them up, so it might take some time still. However, there is hope again!

Sorry for the really long-winded entry, I feel very optimistic right now, and when I am optimistic and happy I use far too many words.

Yeah, apparently, though I didn't notice before today... I look at the page itself far too seldom. Luckily, if there are anyone I don't listen to, it's spammers. At least not after what they said on your page. Actually a bit funny, as they chose to spam my club instead of myself. Weird people.

Yeah, what's the point? I mean, if it started with them spamming my main account, I could understand them flaming this club, but it does seem quite pointless. Oh well, it's not like people are going to listen to them anyway.

O_o Yeah. Atleast they are banned. If not, and they pop up on another account...I suppose we'll all have to ban them again ( i'll be like on one of those arcade games where a prarie dog pops up and you whack them with a rubber hammer :laughing: )
